Today I will tell you a story about the very first larger painting I did hang on my wall. Not in too prominent of a spot but visible clearly on your way to the guest bathroom.

I can’t do much with it. Can’t sell it, cannot enter it anywhere nor even show it as mine! This according to my membership rules with the Federation of Canadian Artist. Fair as it was created following the paint along tutorial by William Kemp. I love this British artist. He created most wonderful courses for acrylics and watercolors for Lynda.com. Still teaching online I had full access to Linda courses via Mohawk College's account. I very much recommend these workshops to anyone wishing to start painting! I believe Lynda.com has been purchased by LinkedIn now. Quite possible that one can access content with LinkedIn account.

I was amazed how Will painted the gondolier with only few quick brush strokes. Mine was reworked few times and ended up looking like Elvis. Still hanging in its spot but may be upgraded soon....
